Schedule: 4-day work weeks with a rotating off day (33 hours week one and 38 hours week 2), with alternating 2.5 and 4-day weekends.
Your Mission as Vascular Sonographer/RVT:
You will perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations with a strong focus on venous reflux studies and vein disease. This role plays a critical part in patient diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedural support.
RVTs at Trident Vein Center are expected to work independently, uphold strict imaging standards, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered clinic environment while embodying TVC’s core values.
Some of our Vascular Sonographer/RVT’s duties and responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams including but not limited to venous reflux testing and venous Doppler.
Accurately draw vein maps which are used to demonstrate the locations and extent of vein disease.
Maintain ultrasound equipment, work areas, and ensure adequate inventory of supplies.
Set up and provide ultrasound guidance for sterile vein closure procedures.
Ensure that medical record documents are properly scanned and saved in the EMR.
Always Comply with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Ensure all images and reports are complete, accurate, and uploaded into EMR by end of day.
Verify consent and obtain pre-&post-procedure photos and measurements.
Assist patients with removing and applying wound care dressings.
Required experience and qualifications:
Required: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
Required: ARDMS or CCI certification
Preferred: RVT or RVS or RPhS
Minimum of 2–3 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred; venous insufficiency experience strongly preferred.
