About our practice:
Vanish was started in 2017 and was created for the purpose of providing high quality venous care to patients utilizing more advanced and less invasive technology than what hospital providers were offering. The physician owner was the Department Chief of Emergency Medicine and worked in a community-based hospital for 15-years. The non-physician co-owner has 20 years of medical device sales and management experience along with ownership and development of an acute care clinic.
We started out with just two employees in Oak Creek and have now grown to twelve employees and an additional location in Waukesha. We have treated thousands of patients with varicose vein disease, lymphedema, lipedema, and for cosmetic improvement of spider veins. We look to continue growing and expanding in areas of need.

Schedule: 7:30am to 5:15pm Monday through Friday.
Your Mission as Medical Assistant:
As our Medical Assistant, you will assist the physician, physician assistant and ultrasound technicians with office visits and procedures. You will also assist the team in order to provide the best patient care and experience.
Medical Assistant’s duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist physicians, ultrasound technicians, and advanced practice providers during exams and medical procedures
Provide patient education
Prepare treatment and exam rooms and cleans thoroughly for next patient
Maintain equipment and supply inventory
Triage patient phone inquiries according to physician and/or departmental protocols and documents such actions in patients' medical records
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment for co-workers, patients, and physician
Obtain vitals and record patients' medical history, chief complaint and pertinent medical information in our EMR system (Athena Health)
Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
Help providers examine and treat patients handing equipment and supplies during procedures
Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies
Assist patients in donning their compression stockings
Maintain sterile field
Willingness to learn and cross-train such as front desk duties
Represent the company in external marketing events
Required experience and qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (with sterile technique experience preferred)
One to three years of work experience working in a medical, dental or similar service-oriented industry is preferred
Knowledge of health insurances in regard to referrals, authorizations, and claims
Knowledge of computers, medical terminology, and insurance in order to effectively handle the patient encounter is preferred
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Offered salary and other compensation:
Based on your experience and performance record, we offer an hourly salary of $17.00 to $22.00. We also offer:
