Business Development Representative's schedule and location: Monday to Friday with an opportunity for flex time and remote work. Your Mission as Business Development Representative: We are seeking an individual to directly assist in the growth of the firm by developing and cultivating new business opportunities with qualified prospects that could benefit from our services. You should genuinely be a people-person with a passion for helping others and creating relationships. Having a sharp phone presence with excellent listening skills, a love for building rapport with our prospects and clients both over the phone and in person is a must. You should additionally enjoy finding new and innovative ways to attract and engage our ideal client through effective marketing, while helping to persuade them to meet with an advisor and consider working with our firm.
Your duties and responsibilities:
Build rapport and enthusiasm with our prospects, touring them through our facility, and ensuring they have a Ritz Carlton type experience with our firm.
Managing all aspects of prospect scheduling, appointment setting & confirmations, and follow up.
Actively reaching out to prospects to get them engaged and scheduled for a consultation using various forms of communications including the phone, text, email, SM, direct mail, networking and advertising
Preparing and sending marketing material to prospects and ensuring they have the proper documents when arriving for their consultation.
Attend and assist in planning client and prospecting events and referral programs.
Managing prospect database in Salesforce, creating opportunities, and tracking.
Required experience and qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Successful experience with setting phone appointments
1-2 Years of business development, marketing or hospitality experience preferred
Proficient with Apple computers or quick learner on computers
Exceptional spelling and grammar skills, ability to type 45 WMP
Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience with Salesforce preferred, but not required
Preferred soft skills & personality traits:
Outgoing personality with pleasant and clear phone skills
Service oriented with ability to build strong relationships with prospects
Comfortable learning to persuade prospects to book and keep appointments
Strong organizational, time management and follow up skills
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Results driven and customer focused
Offered salary and other compensation:
Based on your experience and performance record, we offer a starting salary + Incentive range of $45,000 - $65,000. Benefits include:
