Your Mission as Business Development Rep:
Your mission is to expand our market with new clients in variety industry verticals.
: this inside position will start from the data mining, qualifying the potentially-ready prospects from the general pool of the organization database. The key activities are expected to be on the phone with the selected prospect to further qualify the opportunity for the next-step engagement. Email campaign is one of the examples of the toolset. The performance goal is measured by amount of the successful appointment / engagement within a set period, such as weekly/monthly.
: this includes majority inside and occasional outside meetings with prospects. The main responsibilities include both building client relationships, solution presentation (with the sales engineers), and close the opportunities with contracts. The performance goal is measured by amount of the successful contracts within a set period, such as weekly/monthly. The “amount” maybe both number of the new client contracts or a total potential revenue in the contracts. The commission will be based on the performance.
There is definitely
room for growth, as we will soon need a sales manager who runs a team of sales reps. With a the right sales performance record within our company, you could move up to this position within a few years.
Business Development Rep’s schedule and location:
You will be located in our Tysons, Virginia office and be on a flexible full-time schedule.
Business Development Rep’s duties and responsibilities:
Required experience and qualifications:
- Lead Generation (Via data mining, phone calls and emails)
- Qualifying leads
- Running email campaigns
- Lead closing
- Creating proposals
You must have a minimum of 3 years of sales/closing experience, including a proven record in lead generation/conversion.

Depending on your experience and performance record, we offer a starting salary of $45,000-$50,000. In addition, we have a very attractive bonus/commission structure. You should be expecting to make $100,000/year within 2 years. If this is not your ambition, please do not apply.
