Your mission:
As our new receptionists, you will be the centerpiece of a team that will allow us to service the community even more.  You are a direct reflection of the doctor and the first impression the patient receives when they enter the office.  Operating the Reception Area will be your primary job responsibility.
As our back-up doctor’s assistant, you will be in direct contact with the patients helping them with their treatment programs.  You will be responsible for correct application of the therapies to the individual patients.  These therapies include such equipment as intersegmental traction table, Leander distraction tables, Vibra-Cussor instrument, Power Plate, Ionic foot bath, Bemer therapy, Aqua massage bed, SpineMED Decompression Therapy and more. You will provide back-up support for the Doctor’s Assistant as needed.
You will be expected to learn from the senior doctor’s assistant and office manager.  You will be expected to help service approximately 50-80 patient visits a day, 8 hours a day, 4 days a week with Fridays and weekends off.  You will primarily be working with Families, women age 35-55 and people of all ages who are interested in receiving Chiropractic and Nutritional health care delivered by a friendly, competent and professional health care team.  You will not be required to do office management.
Your primary duties will be that of the Receptionists.  You will also be required to help with the doctor’s assistant duties as needed.    
Specific responsibilities & duties as Receptionist:
  • Answering phones and making appointments
  • Collecting money for services and vitamins
  • keeping the patient flows moving into the treatment area
  • file and pull treatment travel cards.
  • Greeting patients by name.
  • Processing New Patients
  • Keeping patients happy in the reception area.
  • Working walk-in patients into the schedule.
  • Keep the Doctors running on time.

Specific responsibilities & duties as Doctor’s Assistant:
  • Application to patients of all therapies in the office. 
  • keeping the patient flows moving into the treatment area
  • Greeting patients by name.

Required qualifications/experience:
  • Computer skills
  • Be able to multitask with a smile
  • You must be located close to our office, a maximum of a 25 minute commute
Desired personality Characteristics:
  • Must be willing to work hard & handle large patient volumes.
  • Must be able to do 10 things at once and be effective.
  • Must be willing to work with a team.
  • Must be willing to learn from senior receptionists/manager.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Persistent and long-term driven.
  • Must be dedicated to help people.
  • Professional and cares enough to show interest in the patient as if they were family member.
  • Be able to keep a smile on your face even when it is busy.

  • Can listen and duplicate what patient is saying and know that servicing patients is the priority. 
 Offered salary& other compensations:
Based on your experience and performance record, we offer $13 to $15 per hour, plus practice-performance based bonuses. We are open from Monday to Thursday, so you can enjoy a three-day week-end.
