Mission:

As our Sales Representative for Digital Media and PR, your mission will be to continually secure new clients/new business for JOTO PR by handling the new hot leads that come in each week and by also contacting warmer leads that have inquired about our services. 


IMPORTANT: You must have the natural mentality of a “hunter” – you love to develop new business and you pride yourself on being a great closer – you are not afraid or intimidated of asking for the order when dealing with business owners. This is a business development position; you will spend more time and energy creating NEW clients, rather than entertaining them.


Responsibilities:
  • Increasing the client portfolio by adding new clients every month.
  • Cultivating new leads and getting them interested up to point where you close them.
  • Ensuring the clients that have been signed up are getting what they communicated they need from JoTo PR by coordinating with the Delivery team.
  • Continuing education process in JOTO PR PR/SM/Digital subjects as well as the sales process and sales techniques.
  • Learning organizational/administrative basics for better team coordination and expansion.
 
Qualifications:
  • You have knowledge of and experience with marketing and/or social media or PR from a sales perspective.
  • You understand PR, how it works, how it is different from marketing, how it compliments marketing and sales.
  • You know B2B sales and you have a successful track record in B2B Consultative Sales.
  • You are a natural closer with no back-off, even when dealing with tough clients.
  • Technologically savvy – you understand cloud applications, SKYPE, VoIP, and you can quickly learn software applications such as Infusionsoft for lead management.  As well as Microsoft 365 products – WORD, EXCEL, PP, etc.
 
Preferred Characteristics:
  • No back off/reservations in contacting, controlling and handling new and existing clients. You are a closer!
  • You know and understand the world of marketing, social media and PR – and the difference
  • You never close the door; you stay interested with prospects
  • You portray a professional appearance
  • You are a people person – you like to help others
  • You are ambitious in a good way and you like the idea of being rewarded on performance
  • You know and/or you are willing to learn organizational administrative basics
  • You have the understanding and altitude to communicate to and handle C-LEVEL executives and business owners
Salary:

Depending on experience and production record, we offer a base salary of $40,000 – $55,000, plus 10% direct sales commissions on corrected gross income for the first year. You will be bonused on sales targets that exceed weekly/monthly quotas. With commissions, your potential annual compensation would be $100K+.
Greater sales will lead to higher commissions. Long-term client contracts build up residual income for the Sales Consultant each month, so one can build a book of business.
