Your mission:
Your mission will be to maintain up to $3M of project volume annually by ethical and prosperous means. Able to maintain and manage multiple crews, trade partners, and vendors. Live up to and exceed Schroeder Standards and guidelines. You must be a team player as well as team builder.  Able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a positive attitude that continues to strive for success while encouraging others to do so as well.  As our Project Manager, you will be a steward to Schroeder Design/Build and its mission.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Pre-Project Start duties include but not limited to…
  • Develop a complete understanding of drawings, contract, budget, materials, specs, schedule
  • Procure Purchase Orders for vendors and Work Orders for trades
  • Prepare and provide estimating, planning, and scheduling
  • Prepare and provide scheduling for all trades and vendors assigned to the project
  • Coordinate project schedules to meet the needs of both the client and company
  • Review and edit job binders from Sales/Design and submit corrective actions and or clarity. 
  • Prepare and fully assemble for Production.
  • Schedule and manage the project hand-off meeting between Sales, Design and Production.
  • Manage the Pre-Construction meeting with team members including agenda preparation and coordination of meeting time and location
 
During Project duties include but not limited to…
  • Manage, monitor, and direct activities for all trade partners & vendors for each assigned project
  • Manage the systems for quality control, cost control, scheduling and client satisfaction
  • Communicate budget, schedule and satisfaction variances/corrective actions to Production Manager
  • Verify completion of work or delivery of materials to the purchase order agreed vs scope of work
  • Create change order documents.  Ensure accuracy of budget and schedule.
  • Create and maintain relationships with trades and vendors
  • Keep a daily log with all client requests and post to Co-Construct the day they were received
  • Manage end of project process and conduct the final walk throughs with Trades and Client
  • Assist in developing and training for carpenters and trade partners that exceed expectations
  • Manage, enforce and keep current safety standards. Hold weekly safety meetings
  • Manage and enforce the quality control systems and standards for the maintenance of site conditions and organization for each assigned project. To include pre and post walk through checklists are completed and verified.
  • Release payments to trade partners and vendors based on completion of inspection checklists
  • Keep current on building codes specific to our region and OSHA practices
  • Ensure client satisfaction
 
Post Project duties include but not limited to…
  • Coordinate and participate in a project breakdown meeting for lessons learned
  • Communicate variances with estimating department
  • Communicate areas of improvement to Design and Production departments
 
Required qualifications/experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of management
  • Minimum of 10 years construction experience
  • Experienced with Outlook, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn and use other programs to maintain assigned projects
  • Clean and valid driver’s license
  • Clean, professional looking vehicle
  • Clean, professional looking appearance
  • Able to lift 90 lbs

Offered salary& other compensations:
​Depending on your experience and performance record, we offer
  • a starting salary of $75,000 to $80,000, plus completion bonuses and other incentives.
